ok in this thread i will be reviewing the 70+ characters in fire emblem:radiant dawn
let's start with the lords (about all of them have high luck):
micaiah-light mage/lord
1-you have to take her to the last chapter
2-you can't promote her normally, you must wait till certain story events for her to promote
3+she can use the thani spell wich is usually a 1 hit KO against generals and horsemen
4+accurate spells
5+often double attacks
6+decent avoid when trained
7-kinda low starting hp
elincia-queen/lord
1+has a pegasus
2+she has amiti, a good sword that always doubles and often hits x4
3+best healer
4+can do stuff and move afterwards
5+starts as a 3rd tier unit
ike-hero/lord
1+very high crit chance
2+often kills any enemy in 1 turn
3+he gets ragnell, a powerfull, unbreakable sword
4+he gets aether, a skill that hits twice, heals and does extra damage
5-he must be taken to the final chapter
6+he is needed to kill the black knight and the final boss
7+avoids often, tough
sanaki-empress/lord
1+will easily get an ss in fire before the final chapter
2-barely ever double attacks
3-must be taken to the final chapter
4+best fire mage
5+starts as 3rd tier unit
thief-like
sothe-rogue
1-must be taken to the final chapter
2-very strong when you get him, kinda weak by the end.
3+avoids a lot
4+can steal and pick locks
5+kinda resistant at the start
heather-rogue
1+quick
2-not very useful
3-low damage
4+good avoid
5-fragile
6-overall worse than sothe
7+can steal and pick locks
volke-assasin
1+very quick
2+insane avoid
3+double attacks a lot
4+starts as a 3rd tier
5+im pretty sure he can steal and pick locks
6+badass
7+lethality skill (instantly kills enemy)
8+comes well armed
generals
meg-sword general
1-can barely ever get a kill
2-underleveled
3-very weak
4-will make your eyes bleed
tauroneo-spear general
1+well armed
2-weak for a general
3+can be used as a shield if you take away his weapons so that he doesn't steal xp.
4-avoid him!
brom-axe general
1+useful for some levels
2+decent def
3+decent damage
4+he's ok to use in parts 2 and 3
gatrie-spear general
1+best general
2+good stats overall
3+take him to the final chapter if you like generals |

1-weakest archer
2-you should use him for 2 levels at most
3-i didn't use him at all
rolf-sniper
1+decent
2+good when trained
3+he's ok
shinon-sniper
1+toughest archer
2+starts at a higher level than rolf or leonardo
3+easily caps some things (like skill)
4+best archer
astrid-bow paladin
1+has horse
2+can attack and move afterwards
3+high evasion
4-low damage
5-a bit underleveled
6+has paragon
7-barely ever double attacks
mages
ilyana-thunder mage
1-a bit fragile at the start
2-thunder magic is weak
3+thunder magic hits more crits than other magics
4+double attacks a lot
5+can use rexbolt
6+has a personality
soren-wind sage
1-annoying
2+powerful spells
3+is said to be the best mage by some, i don't like him.
bastian-wind sage/archsage i don't remember
1+ok
2+starts with an ss in wind
3-soren is probably a better wind sage
tormod-fire sage
1+decent for like 1 or 2 lvls
2-pointless
3-dissppears for a long time and shows up underleveled the second time you recruit him
calill-fire sage
1+is ok for some levels in part 2 and 3.
2-nothing too special
pelleas-dark sage
1+decent
2+cool looking spells
3+only dark magic guy you can use
4-only available on 2nd playthrough onwards
5-nothing too outstanding in his stats
healers
laura-cleric
1+essential in chapter 1
2+kinda good offense
3-is the lowest leveled healer
rhys-bishop
1+good healer
2+can use light magic
3+he's ok
mist-idk wtf
1+ok healer
2+can use swords (badly)
3+gets a horse when promoted
4+gets her own promotion item
5-too fragile, even for a healer.
oliver-fat looser
1-ok...don't even use him, even mist is better.
2-it's better to kill him.
swordmasters
edward-myrmidon
1+is one of the best units in chapter 1
2+high avoid
3+he rocks when promoted
4+he's very good
5+has wrath
6-fragile at the start
zihark-swordmaster
1+badass
2+cool
3+does a lot of criticals
4+high avoid
5+has adept
lucia-swordmaster
1+decent
2-is a bit overleveled when you first get her
3-is absent for a long time so she is hard to raise
4-it's better not to use her unless it's neccesary
mia-swordmaster
1+she deals little damage at the start but becomes very good
2+high avoid and many double attacks
3+lots of criticals
stefan-trueblade
1+has vague katti, the ss sword
2-he is ok but if you trained any other trueblade they will probably be better than him. |

1+he's a beast!

1+pretty strong
2+similar to muarim
3+possibly the best tiger

1-weakest of all 3 crows

1+insanely high avoid
2-is gone for a long time
3+the 2nd best crow (or the best if you don't use laguz kings)
4+best stat growths of all laguz
5-is always high
naesala-raven king
1+best of all crows
2+can be transformed all the time
3+starts out with his master skill
4-some people consider laguz kings too cheap
wyvern riders

1+about as good as haar if trained
2+one of the best of micaiahs units
3+pretty much like haar when she promotes
haar-dragon master
1+brutal
2+high defence and avoid
3+the enemy requires extreme effort to hurt him (or thunder mages)
4+is badass
warriors
nolan-fighter
1+kinda tough compared to the other units in part 1
2+good stats when trained
3+is almost neccesary in part 1
4-doesn't double attack until you train him a bit
boyd-warrior
1+strong

3+higher leveled than nolan
4+about as good as nolan

1-they both are very weak compared to marcia
2-should only be ued sometimes to transport units or attack when no one else is able.
