Hello all,
It has been a long time since I talked about teh Rubik's Cube. So in this topic, I will talk about how to take your 8min solve and turn it into a 4 min solve or your 4min solve to a 2min solve or even as short as 45 seconds. Follow these tips. It will by no means make you a world record holder, but for sure it will make you solve much faster:
-Lubricate your cube with: Vasaline(take caution as this will slowly eat the insides of your cube), Grease(any old grease may do), or Silicone spray(takes about an hour for it to get done).
Using Blue as top face as an example
-Blue on a corner piece is facing down, use Ri, Di, Di, R, D; proceed with the average Ri, Di, R, D.
-If the blue is facing left, use Di, Ri, D, R until the blue is where it needs to be.
-If you're right handed, make no adjustments to your algorithms. If you are left handed, change the R in any of the corner orient algorithms to L and switch ea to the opposite. For Example: Ri, Di, R, D > L, D, Li, Di.
